Hoje decidi ir ao Museum of London. Fui com a principal intenção de ver uma exposição de fotografia que há já algum tempo adiava intitulada London Street Photography, mas acabei por ver o museu todo. Era para ser uma coisa rápida que só me ocupasse a manhã, já que tenho uma tese para escrever, mas acabei por passar lá grande parte do dia!
O museu conta a história de Londres desde a época dos romanos até aos tempos modernos...como não podia deixar de ser, cativou-me muito mais a parte dedicada aos tempos modernos, século XX portanto.
Nunca teria ido a este museu não fosse pela exposição de fotografia, fico contente que ela tenha existido e me tenha feito ir lá!
Para já deixo aqui só algumas palavras de outros, que reflectem aquilo que eu também sinto por esta cidade magnífica que é Londres! Mais tarde, porque agora tenho de me dedicar um pouquinho à tese, acrescentarei algumas fotos do resto do museu :)

Today I decided to go to the Museum of London. I went there mainly to check out an exhibition entitled London Street Photography, but ended up going through the whole museum. What was supposed to be a quick thing that would only take up a morning seeing I have a thesis to write, ended up taking up most of the day!
The museum tells London's history since Roman times till today...as it was expected, I was much more captivated by the section dedicated to the modern times, XX century that is.
I would never have gone to this museum hadn't it been for the photography exhibition, I'm glad it was there and that it made me go there!
Right now I'll leave you with some words by others that reflect what I also feel for this magnificent city that is London! Later, because now I'll have to dedicate myself a little bit to my thesis, I'll add more photos from the rest of the museum :)
