Stik é um dos artistas de rua mais regulares no East End londrino...Na visita guiada que fiz nessa zona, fiquei a saber que o Stik era um sem-abrigo que começou a fazer os seus graffitis e acabou por encontrar alguma notoriedade com os seus trabalhos. Actualmente saiu da rua e tem exposições regulares em galerias. Fui ver esta exposição no dia de abertura e até ao momento em que me vim embora já quase todos os quadros estavam vendidos!
Contudo, para quem está habituado a vê-lo pelas ruas, sabe que apesar de se basearem em formas muito simples, as suas obras transmitem sentimentos e emoções, e isso não se sentia na amostra presente na exposição...

Stik is one of the most prolific street artists in London's East End...In the tour I made in the East End I came to know Stik was a homeless person who started his graffitis which became famous. Today, after leaving the streets, Stik has regular gallery exhibition. I went to this exhibition in the opening day, and by the end, almost all the paintings were sold!
However, to whom is used to see him around the streets, although is works are based in very simple shapes, his works manage to transmit feelings and emotions, and that wasn't very noticeable in the exhibition...
