Quase toda a gente a quem comuniquei que ia à Escócia e que iria dividir o meu tempo por Edimburgo e Glasgow me disse: Então não dividas esse tempo irmamente, Glasgow é feio, nem sei porque lá vais!
A minha opinião: Sim, Glasgow não é a cidade conto de fadas com que nos deparamos em Edimburgo, mas tem muitas outras qualidades e é também muito bonita!
Glasgow é uma grande cidade, onde se encontra alguma degradação como poderão ver pelas minhas fotos, mas que tem um património arquitectónico maravilhoso...Edifícios antigos lindos em perfeita harmonia com edifícios modernos...magnífico!
Além disso, e porque durante muitos anos sofreu um enorme desprezo em função de Edimburgo, tem imensas coisas para oferecer: galerias, museus, centros de ciência, universidade...adorei a cidade e nem sei se posso dizer que gostei mais de Edimburgo, uma vez que também acho que não são cidades comparáveis!

My opinion: Yes, Glasgow is not the fairy tale city you find in Edinburgh, but it has many qualities and is also very beautiful!
Glasgow is a big city where you can find some degradation as you can see in my pictures, but that has a wonderful architectonic patrimony...beautiful old buildings in perfect harmony with the new buildings around...magnificent!
Adding to that, and maybe because for many years it was forgotten owing to Edinburgh's popularity, it has loads of things to offer: galleries, museums, science centres, university...I loved the city and I can't even say if I liked Edinburgh better as I think they are not comparable!
